THE POWER OF INFLUENCE

Did you ever hear someone say, "Man, I can read him like a book!" Well, the truth is - we are all Life Sized Talking Books! The Apostle Paul wrote that we are as living epistles (books) known and read of all men. We are being read as we speak and we are being read when we are silent. Every life we touch and every person's path we cross has an indelible recording of our "book".

Regardless of our birth origin or our natural dialect we all speak the "Language of Life" and we all influence others by our living. Don't think that you are uninvolved in the lives of those around you. Your influence is ongoing. Whether covert or overt, the power of your influence is making a mark upon the hearts and lives of everyone you encounter.

If you grasp this inescapable truth you will know what Jesus meant when He talked about light and salt.

HERE'S A SOBERING THOUGHT: Even after death, your influence lives on! Whether via the scars of bad memories or the smiles of good memories, everyone you touched continues to be influenced by your "living epistle."

Is your life a "holy book" a "worldly novel" or a "comic book?" Remember, you can't tell a book by it's cover. What is written on the pages is what matters.
