PRAY FOR THE PERSECUTION CHURCH - REGULARLY
In the picture, a Pakistani woman known only as Gulnaz, is shown with the scars she has received at the hands of "unknown" torturers who burned and beat her with branding irons and hot coals in an attempt to get her to renounce Christ, and return to Islam. She bears those scars with a smile, thankful that she can be a part of the "fellowship of Christ's sufferings" (Phil. 3:10).

Every Sunday, I remind our congregation to pray for the persecuted church around the world. Millions of Christians have been maimed, imprisoned or killed for no other reason than their committed faith in Jesus Christ.
It seems unfathonable that in this day and age such violence would be permitted, and in most cases condoned, in any country of the world. It used to be that the Communist controlled governments were the ones who treated Christians in such ways. (And, to be sure, most of them still do.)
But, the new/old hater of Christians has raised it's ugly head and has become the premier slaughterer of those who follow Christ. The adherents of Islam would have us believe that their religion is a peaceful religion. Hogwash! A cursery review of their beginnings and history will demonstrate to any rational mind that violence and death are the hallmarks of their "faith".
If the historical perspective is not good enough to pursuade anyone of the demonic blood lust of this religion, I would suggest they take a look at the current vicious attacks against Christians. In every Muslim controlled country of the world, Christians are abused, mutilated, maimed, imprisoned or killed. Any attack against them is either ignored or downplayed by the Muslim authorities.
I suggest you check out www.assistnews.net -or- www.persecution.com -or- www.xrnet.org in order to help you have an understanding of the critical events happening in Christian's lives around the world. The stories are heartbreaking!
I believe, according to the published goals of Islam, that America is in their sights and their desire is to turn this country into a Muslim country with Shuria Law being the rule of law. (If you're not familiar with Shuria law I encourage you to do some research. Believe me, you do not want your children or grandchildren to grow up under that demonic bondage.)
Twenty-five years ago, a missionary to Africa told me he believed the last big war would be between Christians and Muslims. At the time I neither appreciated nor understood his prediction. I certainly do now. My research and awareness of anti-Christian actions by Muslims has required me to share that viewpoint.
Why am I telling you this? I want you to do your own research and track the atrocities committed against Christians in our present generation. I know you will come to the same conclusion as I. And then when you hear our President, or any other personality, declare that Isalm is a religion of peace you will know that the person has spoken a lie, either blindly or willingly. I close this very serious Minute Message with the hope that you will become informed and see the urgent need of lifting our persecuted Brothers and Sisters up to the Lord in prayer and that you will become educated to the real goal of Muslims in America.
